ZUKA HOUSE

In this vibrant protected wilderness, Zuka House sits on the edge of an ancient caldera facing the sunrise. The view takes you over sweeping plains to the highest vegetated sand dunes in the world and on the other side of this forested natural wonder, lies another wilderness: the Indian Ocean.

The family home, first completed in 2005 has evolved in design and decor to serve equally as a quiet bush retreat, a hub of work and creativity for Zuka’s team at the helm, the setting of gatherings and celebrations and abundantly, as the mainstay at the heart of the safari for visiting guests.

Jessica Getty and Paula Louw have worked on the interiors and architecture since the inception of Zuka House, Gladstones and The Cottage. Safari style pervades through the houses blending freshness, comfort and authenticity.
